My Experience – Technical Depth & Project Management

I have more than 30 years of dedicated experience in developing all types of systems and robust wireless solutions. My background ranges from research and prototyping to industrialization and certification for global markets. Having worked at several levels within the industry—from defense companies to manufacturers like National Semiconductor, TI, and Semtech—I have managed customers in over 10 countries and developed custom integrated circuits. As a result, I maintain a strong network within the electronics industry. I also understand that mechanical design is deeply linked to electronic performance and longevity, a challenge that is often overlooked.

Wireless Communication & RF Design

Expertise:

  • Protocols: Extensive knowledge of Bluetooth LE (BLE), Wi-Fi, LoRa, LoRaWAN, Cellular IoT (NB-IoT/LTE-M), and simpler protocols like NEXA.
  • Antenna Design: Design and validation to maximize range and minimize power consumption.
  • EMC/EMI: Constructing designs to meet strict electromagnetic compatibility and interference requirements.

Embedded Systems & Firmware

Technical Proficiency:

  • Microcontrollers: Deep experience with ARM Cortex (e.g., STM32, Nordic), ESP32, C51, Tiny1x, and more.
  • Languages: C/C++, Assembler, and Python for low-level programming and optimization of memory and cycle times.
  • Protocols: Implementation of I²C, SPI, UART, and CAN-bus over wire, fiber, or wireless.

PCB Design & Hardware

Design & Tools:

  • CAD Tools: Proficient in Altium Designer, KiCad, or similar schematic and layout software.
  • Signal Integrity: Focus on high-speed signal management and maximizing signal-to-noise ratios.
  • Power Supply: Design of efficient and reliable solutions (LDO, DC/DC converters).
  • Frequency Range: Design experience across products from DC to 80GHz.
